This Pennsylvania barn is probably full of hay, and maybe corn, with the hot summer approaching. The snow has melted and the road is cleared of snow for the wagons and horses. There might even be chickens scratching and pecking the earth for bugs. Men bustling around, filling the corn crib and stacking hay. But in this scene, the earth is frozen with snow, ice sickles are hanging from the roof. Time has stood still, and it's just "A Quiet Winter".
